Currently, there are 3 cabins of the most common sizes: VGEA PLUS-1200, VGEA PLUS-1500 and VGEA PLUS-1800. They measure 1200 mm, 1500 mm and 1800 mm outside width, respectively. Dimensions can be customized from a width of 800 mm to a maximum of 1800 mm.
The cab is equipped with active and passive safety elements to prevent risks to people.
Dimanlab’s VGEA PLUS fume hoods incorporate in their design elements that not only contribute to ensure personnel safety, but also ergonomics. Some examples:
- Easy sliding of the sash door by means of counterweights
- Really simple drive system.
- Adequate and comfortable lighting
- Minimum noise level.
All components of the cabinet, listed below, are made of materials resistant to the mechanical, chemical and thermal stresses to which they may be subjected during use and must not be readily combustible.
In addition, our cab allows almost all of its components to be disassembled in order to make changes or repairs very quickly, if necessary.
Exterior construction / structure:
- Structure made of 40 square section aluminum profiles, with closed grooves on all four sides for good aesthetics, easy cleaning and to avoid dust accumulation.
- Sides with 3+3 transparent glass, for good visibility and light entry into the work space.
Interior of the upper body: made of high-density, fire-resistant, compact resin panels.
Worktop: cabin to be placed on the customer’s existing countertop or new Dimanlab furniture, when it is tabletop. Optionally, a new thermosetting resin worktop can be added to the existing countertop. If full body, the worktop is made of thermosetting resins.
Front door: sash door with 3+3 mm laminated glass housed in an aluminum frame, connected to the counterweight system by steel cable, with a double pulley system located at the rear to prevent the door from dropping abruptly in case of breakage or failure.
Bottom: a removable rear panel for access to connections (if not desktop) and electrical channel with a double electrical base.
Upper front panel: easily removable panel that gives access to the pulley system, lighting and extraction tube connection.
Standard services, but also customizable according to needs:
- 1 LED light strip, guaranteeing an illumination of more than 500 lux.
- 1 switch on the dashboard and surface panel.
- Optional: 1 channel under table and 2 double electrical bases located in the lower part of the interior of the cabin.

We provide a Project Management as your main interlocutor. It will ensure that the works are carried out strictly in the projected terms of quality of the materials and the ouput delivered, in cost, in deadlines and in the safety of the workers involved, as well as in the care and respect of your belongings and facilities. He will also regularly monitor progress and coordinate with our site managers and any third party industrialists involved.
